Boccia is primarily a sport for people with disabilities.  The sport is a ball game similar to that of lawn green bowling but is played indoors with six red balls and six blue balls and one white ball.  Boccia is a sport as players take it in turn to get their ball nearer to the white ball (called the Jack).

This sport is an paraolympic game and was featured in the 2012 Paraolympic games held in Stratford, East London and is skilled and competitive sport as well as a sport that can be played for fun.

Players with limited arm and hand movement/s are able to play as equipment such as a ramp can be used for the player to roll the ball down the ramp.  Infact any ingenious way that enables the player to propel the ball from A to B is permitted, however, all players must remain seated.

All equipment for the game is required.

The venue does have a wheelchair accessible toilet and ample parking spaces.

Come enjoy the fun and meet new people in the process.
