Every Wednesday evening Bolton Rugby Union FC and Bolton Wanderers Community Trust hold a fun rugby session at Bolton RUFC, Avenue Street for those with disabilities. The sessions take place on grass so please make sure this is suitable for you as unfortunately we can’t involve those in wheelchairs for safety reasons.

All sessions are delivered by qualified rugby coaches and take place while Junior Rugby training sessions are taking place at Bolton RUFC.

You do not need any rugby experience to attend just come along and give it a TRY (pun intended). The sessions are designed to cater for those taking part and will stretch them and help their confidence grow but will not ask them to do things they are not capable of attempting.

The aims of the sessions are to increase confidence and inclusion and reduce obesity and inactivity. If you fancy trying something new in a fun environment with people who care then this could be for you.

Parents/Carers can have a cuppa and biscuit in the newly refurbished club house and have a chat while your charges have fun.

There are opportunities to join in with the Junior Teams should you wish to but that step will be the choice of those taking part but we will support you every step of the way.

No special equipment is needed just sports kit and trainers or boots
